Heather is a stay-at-home mom to three daughters, and she loves to read, travel, hike, bike, ski, run and most anything outdoors. She also loves socializing and meeting new people. Originally from Newfoundland but transplanted to Ottawa over 13 years ago, she now considers Ottawa home. Heather's husband is also in the medical field and so like many of us they want to do the best they can to keep their home and our environment safe to ensure that their children are not exposed to unnecessary chemicals or contaminates. As somewhat of a product addict (being a former hairstylist she comes by it honestly) she cares greatly about the products they consume or interact with as a family on a regular basis.
A couple of years ago her husband had the privilege of leading a team from Ottawa on a medical mission to Haiti through the wonderful non-profit, Broken Earth. They have become passionate about helping the people in Haiti in any way they can. Heather also loves to support her children's school. It is an independent school that offers families more than just academia and she wants to help ensure that all families have the opportunity to attend.
Heather is very excited to have found a way to build financial support for charities of our choice, with money we are already spending, all while make our homes safer for our families!
