Team Broken Earth is committed to a sustained medical relief effort in Haiti to help rebuild and reinforce the healthcare system in one of the poorest countries in the western world.
“We’re not trying to change the world. We’re trying to change someone’s world.”
Dr. Jeremy Pridham
In pursuit of this vision our corporate purposes are:
To provide and operate a not-for-profit clinic and hospital, as well as provide medical equipment that will provide medical care to any disaster or poverty-stricken area; and
To advance education and public health in developing nations by providing training and education to health care professionals.
Team Broken Earth is a volunteer taskforce composed of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals from across Canada and beyond, committed to delivering and improving healthcare where it’s needed most. What started as a relief effort following the earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince in 2010, Team Broken Earth is still working in Haiti and has since expanded to places like Bangladesh, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
